Thomas Goode is a partner and one of the founders of Goode, Hemme & Barger. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Goode was involved in real estate development, mortgage banking and commercial brokerage, including serving as Vice President/Operations of a real estate development firm and a management consulting firm.

Jerry D. Hemme is the managing partner and a co-founder of Goode, Hemme & Barger. A highly experienced attorney who has practiced law in Southern California since 1981, Mr. Hemme understands that early resolution of a dispute is a key factor in reducing legal expense and often leads to a better result. He is particularly effective at finding creative solutions to resolve lawsuits by settlement and mediation, but if litigation is necessary, his clients have a capable litigator on their side. Danielle Barger is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law (State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization), a designation reserved for those attorneys who are able to meet California’s comprehensive education and experience requirements in the field of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.
John Malki’s unique background has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of real estate that few attorneys have. In addition to being an attorney, he is a California-licensed Real Estate Broker, and an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where he teaches Real Estate Transactions and Secured Land Transactions.
Dani L. Battiest is an associate attorney with Goode, Hemme & Barger who devotes her practice to estate planning and business law.
Mr. Laturno, who has practiced law for over 30 years, counsels clients in the areas of real estate, estate planning and elder law. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator with the American Arbitration Association and the San Diego Superior Court.
Melissa Lum is a business litigator and transactional attorney, focused on helping individual and small to mid-size businesses flourish through strategic business planning and risk management.
Amanda-Dawn Delia is an attorney with Goode, Hemme & Barger, focusing on estate planning, trust administration and business law. She began her career in law in 2004 as a legal assistant in a securities firm, which inspired her future as an attorney. After becoming an attorney in 2011, Ms. Delia maintained a solo practice for six years, primarily focused on business transactions and contract resolution. Ms. Delia joined the Firm to provide her clients with greater resources and offer them a broader range of services. She is excited to bring her passion for law and compassion for her clients to the already exceptional legal team at Goode, Hemme, and Barger.
Mr. Fenton is a partner at Goode Hemme & Barger, where he works with individuals and companies, big and small, to assess, secure, manage, and enforce their intellectual property rights in the fields of trademark, patent, and copyright. Mr. Fenton is licensed to practice law in California and Hawaii, is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has been practicing law for over ten years. Mr. Fenton’s experience with both litigation and transactional matters affords him a broader perspective when working with clients to identify and apply the best and most efficient solutions to challenges and opportunities.
John C. Demas is an attorney with Goode Hemme & Barger, APC in San Diego, California. His practice areas include real estate, estate planning, tax, title insurance and other transactional business matters. Additionally, he is a full-time Clinical Professor with the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego’s School of Business.
