Kate Langmore began her legal career at LexisNexis, a leading provider of legal, regulatory and business information and analytics, where she further honed her research and writing skills learned in law school. She then stepped into the practice of law as an attorney in civil litigation, handling employment matters and complex property agreements, including premarital and marital settlement agreements. Ms. Langmore is passionate about the field of estate planning because it provides the opportunity to help clients reach their goals and plan for a secure future. Ms. Langmore’s strong research and writing skills, as well as her experience with community property law and family dynamics, make her a valuable addition to Goode Hemme & Barger’s estate planning team.

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ms. Langmore earned her B.A. in English from UCLA. She then completed her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law, where she served on the Hastings Business Law Journal and externed for the San Francisco Superior Court’s Law and Motion Department.
Philanthropy & Legal Activies
Ms. Langmore is active in the legal community and serves as a Court Appointed Attorney for the San Diego Superior Court’s Probate Department, representing proposed conservatees. She also participates in case studies with the Estate Planning Group Network, an education-focused organization composed of attorneys, private trustees, financial advisors, geriatric care managers and other professional dedicated to serving seniors. Additionally, Ms. Langmore acts as co-chair of Lawyers Club of San Diego’s Community Outreach Committee.
