Kate Langmore began her legal career at LexisNexis, a leading provider of legal, regulatory and business information and analytics, where she further honed her research and writing skills learned in law school. She then stepped into the practice of law as an attorney in civil litigation, handling employment matters and complex property agreements, including premarital and marital settlement agreements. Ms. Langmore is passionate about the field of estate planning because it provides the opportunity to help clients reach their goals and plan for a secure future. Ms. Langmore’s strong research and writing skills, as well as her experience with community property law and family dynamics, makes her a valuable addition to Goode Hemme & Barger’s estate planning team.

Ms. Langmore was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She earned her B.A. in English from UCLA. She then completed her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law, where she served on the Hastings Business Law Journal and externed for the San Francisco Superior Court’s Law and Motion Department.
Ms. Langmore is active in the legal community and has volunteered with San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s Guardianship Clinic as well as Legal Aid Society of San Diego’s Conservatorship Clinic. Additionally, she has held a number of leadership positions within Lawyers Club of San Diego, and currently serves as co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee. In her free time, Ms. Langmore enjoys playing tennis and golf, hiking, and experimenting with new recipes.
