As an associate attorney with Goode, Hemme & Barger, Dani L. Battiest is known for delivering first-class legal services in Estate Planning and Business Law, a never-ending diligence toward all her clients, and her personal, friendly disposition. Ms. Battiest started her career as a legal assistant in 2010, found her passion when she became an attorney, and never looked back.

Today, she’s successfully represented small business owners in entity formation, corporate compliance, employee issues, business succession planning, and contract drafting and negotiation. She is also experienced in the creation of wills and trusts, probate administration, and trust administration.

Ms. Battiest understands how important it is for clients to have their personal and business affairs in good order, and more importantly how crucial it is to create a smooth, cost-effective transition of their estates to their heirs.

Ms. Battiest holds degrees from the University of California, San Diego and the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Ms. Battiest is a member of the California State Bar Association, Southern District Court of California, the North County Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, Wealth Counsel, Resource and Referral Co-op (where she serves as the group’s Co-President and Founder) and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Philanthropy

Ms. Battiest has a long history of giving back to her community, and is intricately involved in service to  the Assistance League of North Coast, where she in active as member of the planned giving committee and the investment committee.

In addition to being a proud San Diego native, Ms. Battiest finds great joy caring for her husband (a proud service member in the United States Marine Corp) and their three small daughters. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors and competing in co-ed softball teams with her husband.
