J. Brown, Esq. Michael J. Brown graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan. He came to the United States and attended the University of California, San Diego. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, Mr. Brown attended the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in 1984 and has been practicing law in San Diego ever since. Mr. Brown began his practice in a small firm focusing on personal injury litigation. He became the manager and supervisor of the litigation department before establish his own law practice in 1990. He later founded the partnership of Hurley & Brown. After Mr. Hurley retired in 1996, Mr. Brown maintained the firm as a sole practitioner until he formed Roy & Brown in 2001 and expanded his practice to include business and real estate matters. After the dissolution of Roy & Brown in 2006, Mr. Brown joined Goode, Hemme & Peterson. Mr. Brown continues to focus his practice on personal injury, business and real estate disputes and litigation, as well as various transactional matters for small businesses. Mr. Brown is married, and has three children and have lived in Scripps Ranch for the past thirteen years. He is actively involved in his children’s activities and participates in the Old Pros’ soccer league in Scripps Ranch. __________________________________________
