He worked as an environmental chemist before attending law school at the University of San Diego School of Law where he graduated in 1995. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the District Court of Colorado. He is a member of the San Diego Bar Association.

Mr. Bobroff enjoys movies, snow skiing, mountain biking, running, and sailing with friends and family.
